About Louise Attley Art

Louise Attley Art was founded by Yorkshire-based artist Louise Attley, whose work is inspired by the moments, places and subjects closest to her heart. A lifelong love of horses, animals and the countryside continues to influence her creative approach, alongside the everyday experiences and seasonal moments that inspire her collections today.

Horses have been a significant part of Louise's life for many years, alongside dogs, chickens and other animals. Time spent with them, together with many years of competing in equestrian events, has shaped both her perspective and artistic style. Rather than simply being subjects to draw, animals have always been a much-loved part of daily life, bringing authenticity and character to the work she creates.

Today, Louise Attley Art focuses on creating thoughtful illustrated products, including greetings cards, mugs, fine art prints, original artwork and gifts. Designed to feel timeless, meaningful and full of character, each collection draws inspiration from the people, places and experiences that make life special.

Alongside her collections, Louise also accepts a limited number of painted commissions when time allows. Working in a realistic, hand-painted style, she pays close attention to the details that capture true likeness and individual personality. Each commission is approached with care and patience, reflecting the significance these pieces hold for the people who commission them.
